Black women, we need you to stand up for us as well, all of us, when so many of you put us down. We need you to correct and stand on those who put us down. For it is when you turn your backs on us & deny us as men, that prevents us from being men for you.
Black women, I need you to stop calling me a nigga. I am a man, I am a king, your king, as you are my queen.
Black women, we need you to believe in us. How can we create the foundation for you which you desire, when we are being destroyed mentally by the doubt you throw right in our face?
Black women, we need you to start respecting & loving yourselves. How do you expect to be appreciated and respected as the queen you are when as a queen, you’re too busy referring to yourself as a princess? How do you expect to be loved, when you speak of it as if it doesn’t exist? Look at what you are teaching our daughters and to our sons on how to treat women, to treat themselves, when they see you slapping yourself on the face.
Black women, we need you to allow us to be fathers to our children and stop pushing us away for you to adopt the “independent” role. Stop telling our sons that we are nothing, and teaching our daughters to treat us like we are nothing to depend on.
Black women, I know we are each others equal, but we need you to be loyal to us just as much as you expect us to be loyal to you.
Black women, we need you to take away that wall you built to keep us separated. Allow us to have your heart, allow us to lead you on a path that will keep our family strong. We need you to trust us.
Black women, we need you to understand that if you abuse us as well, then we have no choice but to leave you to be a lonely self, just as you promised to leave us. But understand that were not born with those intentions, and abusing & leaving only keeps the defeating defeated.
Black women, we need you to see us as well. We need you to hold us too, we need you to tell us that it’s alright, we need you to tell us that you love us, because so many of us are dying at a young age that all we see is the world against us. The last thing we need is for you to be against us too.
Black women, we arrived here from you, you gave birth to us. Don’t give us up for adoption to a world that will just take our souls.
Black women, we need you to help us, because as we distance ourselves from each other, hate each other, & preach death upon each other, we die. We need you with us so that we can stand as kings & queens, so we can prevent our race from becoming extinct.
Black Women, please know that we love & value you. Everything we do is for you. We work for you, we hunt for you, we love, for you. Black Woman, we desperately need for you to share with us that same love, because you’re not the only one who’s crying for it.
